A thing that would be useful: a streamlined mechanism for marking arbitrary things as 'raise to my attention later'. On tumblr if I'm looking at something and want to address it later (e.g. wait until I get home and have a real keyboard) I can DM it to myself; this is only convenient on tumblr and only to the extent I expect to continue using it (currently I do, but I am planning for eventualities). I can use calendars and alarms similarly but they are not perfect solutions

My current (not very generalizable) way of handling this is by using reminders in the house slack.

I like that I can generate reminders with one line of text from desktop or phone; I like that I can snooze them for short (or longer) periods; I like that I can generate reminders for my housemates and vice-versa.

It deffo only works because we're the kind of nerds to have outgrown just one irc channel for coordinating ourselves, though.

Currently I use "Stickies" by Zhorn Software for this purpose. They can be set to be on top of other windows or not, so you'll see them again when you next minimize some windows, and they have a "Sleep" function to make them disappear until a given time/until a duration has passed. If it's important, there's also an "Alarm" function so the sticky note will start shaking and flashing a bit, with optional sound.

I also have exactly this problem, which is why I am continually vexed at Twitter leaving the bookmark feature mobile-exclusive.

I mostly use Google Keep and a master todo list. These only work if you check them, of course. I haven't totally solved that, but it helps to be extra sure to add *fun* things to any system you want to train yourself to use.
