You should fire the people who decided not to do "when a [holiday not tied to a particular day of the week] falls on a weekend, you get either the preceding Friday or following Monday off".

Arguably more practical than adopting a calendar with a fixed day-of-month/day-of-week mapping.

We have that for some holidays and not others, it's all very ad hoc.

I mean, all in favour of firing them, but we keep changing government officials and it hasn't been fixed yet. If we fire this Pope at the very least it's very unlikely that the *next* pope will be Argentinian
