I once got some cryptocurrency (not bitcoin, one of the smaller ones) for ~free and I've been sitting on it for literal years because trying to figure out how to turn it into real money sounds like work. but I should probably do that at some point.

it's worth like 50 usd right now, which is a pretty good return on an investment of zero
