Apr. 10th, 2020 01:01 pmthe whole "coffee" metaphor for prices over the internet (Ko-fi, every service telling you you can afford the premium version by drinking one fewer cup of coffee a month, etc) mostly just makes me think "wow, coffee sounds really expensive in the US"
I mean I drink starbucks coffee sometimes but I don't pay five dollars for it and I don't do it multiple times a month.
