(no subject)
Dec. 31st, 2019 04:56 pmI am auditing a course on coursera and wow their video subtitles are bad
I think part of the problem is like, whoever is doing their transcription is not being screened for familiarity with the relevant technical vocabulary or the subject matter? and so some words or phrases they just plain don't know or can't derive from context cues.
if *I* can perfectly figure out your [INAUDIBLE]s when listening in a non-native language at increased speed I figure the problem here can't be audio quality
