i can't help but read the construction 'can not do X' as meaning something entirely different from 'cannot/can't do X'. the first means X is optional and the second means it is impossible or forbidden

i'm pretty sure this is not what people have in mind when they fail to contract 'can not'

the tag autocomplete behaviour in dreamwidth on a mobile browser makes it absurdly difficult to use tags (unless they happen to be the one tag starting with that letter it is being autocompleted as)

actually posting in general is kind of bad on mobile

general call for opinions: I am considering buying a console in the 3ds family. a cursory search suggests I can get a regular 3DS or a New 2DS for about the same amount of money, which is cheaper than a New 3DS. What are reasons one might prefer the latter? (assume I don't care about 3D and I only want to play main series pokemons)
