1) Netflix doesn't have English closed captioning for that show for some reason or another, and for sensory processign reasons I prefer to have subs available but whoever translated the dialogue for the Spanish subtitles was really half-assing things. quarter-assing, maybe. It's embarrassing.

2) cop-sympathetic shows are a pain. asking for a warrant, wanting a lawyer present, not automatically complying with any request the police make, or, on occasion not having a verifiable alibi are all treated as signs of guilt by the characters and implicitly by the show. Most recent episode I watched, someone who wasn't under arrest mentioned that, being a free citizen, they were going to continue with their life and among other things leave the country on a previously scheduled business trip. Cops say no don't do that. Suspect says yes I will. Cops arrest her, which they previously were not doing because the evidence did not warrant it, to stop her (she was innocent, incidentally). Why am I expected to like these peoples.
