newest curious trend i've noticed in Worm fic: altpower!taylor crossovers where she 'triggers' at the locker but actually she's not really a parahuman but rather [a Guardian from the game Destiny / fused with a magical demon from an obscure anime / Sauron, apparently?]

It's an interesting decision re: metaphysical proprieties but it does make for interesting writing if "taylor is a massive out-of-context-problem", which is a common theme that I do find enjoyable.

(Also I'm not sure I'd call it new? IDK what the time-frame is here but it's been fairly common for at least year+ and probably more)

it's new in terms of me noticing it, not in term of it happening. I have been reading a lot more Worm fic lately than in the past.
